Ed Berrios

Ed Berrios has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining ClaimsFirst, Mr. Berrios worked the bulk of his career for Chubb Insurance, managing and negotiating complex claims and litigation. He has significant experience in the areas of ERISA, labor-management trusts, employee benefits, errors & omissions, fiduciary liability, and employment practices liability, as well as expertise overseeing coverage actions and other insurance disputes. Working for a large insurer, Mr. Berrios actively participated in court and private mediations and administrative proceedings, handling claims domestically, as well as in Europe, India, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. He earned a BBA in Accounting and Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude) and a JD from Cornell University Law School. He is admitted in New York and holds an Adjuster License in multiple states. Prior to his career in insurance, Mr. Berrios worked as an associate attorney at a large global law firm in New York City. He is a U.S. Army veteran.
