Karalyn Horeled

Karalyn Horeled is an experienced claims examiner with a diverse background in both insurance and law. Prior to joining ClaimsFirst, she served as a claims examiner at Admiral Insurance Group, where she managed a variety of excess and surplus lines claims including those involving bodily injury, property damage, construction accidents and medical malpractice. Her prior experience includes serving as a Claims Manager at Assured Partners in the senior living space and working with CNA Insurance as a claims representative across auto, general liability and healthcare-related matters as part of the Health Care Initial Solutions Team. Earlier in her career, Ms. Horeled gained valuable legal insight through externships with judges in the Circuit Court of Cook County and the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District and serving as a law clerk at boutique firms. She holds a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School (now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law) and her B.A. from Augustana College.
