Claims Specialist Kerrington Johnson is a seasoned claims and risk management professional with over a decade of experience in insurance claims administration, litigation management, and regulatory compliance across the transportation, healthcare, and commercial sectors. Before joining ClaimsFirst, he served as Director of Claims at Railcrew Xpress, where he led the end-to-end management of complex liability claims. His previous roles include Complex General Liability Claims Team Lead at The Littleton Group, where he managed intricate general and professional liability claims—particularly within the managed care and long-term care space—and Risk, Insurance & Compliance Consultant for a 500-vehicle transportation fleet. In addition, Mr. Johnson brings extensive experience as a field adjuster specializing in complex auto liability and high-exposure claims. He holds a B.S. from Lamar University, a Senior Claims Law Associate designation from the American Educational Institute, a Professional Lines certification from the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), and a Risk Financing Certification from the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM).
