Julie Pederson is an insurance industry expert with more than two decades of experience working for leading insurers. She has held multiple roles at CNA, including two tenures as a claim representative, where early in her career she managed employment practice liability, employee benefits liability, and lawyers’ professional liability claims. In her last role at CNA, she handled healthcare professional liability claims from notice to resolution including investigation, analysis of liability and damages and reserve analysis negotiation. Ms. Pederson also previously worked as a broker at Marsh & McLennan Agency, where she managed and serviced a book of professional and management liability Insureds. Prior to that, she was a senior claim representative at OneBeacon Insurance Group, where she managed employment practice and excess lawyers’ professional liability claims. Ms. Pederson attended the University of Minnesota Duluth.
