Maria Thomas

Maria Thomas brings a broad breadth of experience in the legal and insurance industries. She has worked for some of the largest carriers including CNA, where she managed employment practice claims in the Organizational Liability Department. Previously, she worked as a claims analyst at AIG, managing claims in the D & O department specifically related to employment practices matters. Ms. Thomas has significant authority in the areas of employment practices liability and D & O liability. In her law career, she has defended commercial liability companies in defense and coverage cases and handled professional liability coverage matters for a prominent London-based insurance company. She attended St. John’s University and St. John’s University School of Law in a six- year joint BA/JD program. Ms. Thomas is admitted in New York, New Jersey and D.C.
